lexiconology


i like words. all words. new words. old words. short words. long words. simple words. weird words. made up words.
why use the same words when you can use new ones?
with such a plethora of words to use on a daily basis why do we stick to the same ones everday?
lets work on that shall we...go open up a dictionary
but maybe its my skepticism thats kicking in but i doubt that will happen
so in that case we have lexiconology

p.s. apparently the most trusted dictionary to date is the 1928 twelve volume oxford english dictionary. one of the main contributors was william chester minor, an american ex army surgeon originally born in ceylon (sri lanka). prior to his involvement with the oed minor enjoyed frequenting fleshpots, was sent to an insane asylum, and convicted of murder. he was later diagnosed with schizophrenia...
