Tegan and Sara - Sainthood.

Yup, I downloaded it as soon as it leaked. That night I gave it a quick listen (approx. 10-15 seconds of each song) before I went to bed, and hated it.  Well, not hated it, but I didn't like it. I'm not sure what I was expecting - all of their albums are so different, and I've grown to love The Con more than anything, so I guess wanted something similar (or something like If It Was You...). Anyway, I was super bummed the next day because I thought I didn't like the new album, but since then I've been listening to it on repeat and I really like it. I am still a bit bummed that there isn't a slow song that just breaks my heart (example: Call It Off). I guess it sounds fun and catchy and sort of upbeat. And I like it. It's not my favourite by them (eventually after enough listens I will LOVE it), but I like it (and the bolded songs below? I love).

i love tv

I haven't had much time to be keeping up with all the TV shows that I love, but here's a list of what I think is awesome.

1. Glee - Best. Show. Ever.  This is my new fave! Jane Lynch is perfect (well, everyone in it is perfect), and the more her character gets into the show, the better/funnier it is (my fave Jane Lynch part so far = writing in her journal).  Just hilarious! This is one of the only shows that I've been keeping up with every week.

2. Grey's Anatomy - Obviously. But I hate the whole deal with the merger with Mercy West, but whatev, it's still alright - There have been some pretty funny moments so far (Christina in pediatrics = so funny). I've also been watching this one every week... aaand I'm pretty much in love with Callie and Arizona <3

3. Criminal Minds - I've only seen the first couple episodes of this season.  This show is amazing and terrifying.  So good.

4. Dexter - So many people have never watched Dexter before! What?! If you haven't seen it, you are missing out! Go watch it.

There are more, like Gossip Girl, but I've missed so many episodes I'll have to wait a while before I have time to get caught up.

this is our first game since the beginning of summer.
it was actually a pretty good game!
we used the whole board and almost all the coloured tiles.

- less than a week until 'where the wild things are' is out!!!
- i can't believe anyone allowed miley cyrus to butcher notorious b.i.g. (if he was alive now...she'd get shot)
- i'm really feelin florence + the machine right now
- i need a new hoody and have no idea where to get one i like (i'm overrr american apparel)
- so so so cold outside...i defs have increased my caffeine intake infinitely
- keiko's holiday drink (double tall one pump white mocha one pump peppermint non fat latte) is delicious
- entourage is over for the season and it ended in a big way...best epi of the season
- i went to bed at 9pm on thursday and loved it
- i am getting a snowboarding itch...lets go lets go lets go!
- i bought a new book to read and am loving it! (shantaram by gregory david roberts - review soon!)
- did you see the office this week??? it was perfect.
- barack obama won the nobel peace prize this week...i like him, but it was an interesting choice.

Not too happy

There is so much I would rather be doing right now, but I am stuck completing a Stats assignment (part of which, I copied wrong from the program at school - and the program isn't compatible with my Macbook, so I can't even do the parts that I want to) and studying for midterms.

Some things I wish I could do:

1. Play Scrabble and/or Bananagrams

2. Clean my room/Organize my room (sometimes I can be a little bit OCD with organization...)

3. Shop.  I need more tights, maybe some skirts, and some sweaters

4. Catch up on Gossip Girl + The Hills + Glee

5. Bake! I've been in a bit of a baking mood (but lack the funds to buy ingredients).  Cupcakes, please.
